I've been through every style of recruiting. In my early days, when people didn't understand the business, I’d argue with them, plead and negotiate with them. You can imagine how well that went… All I did was end up looking desperate and I would end up blowing people out immediately!

I knew I had to change this to a long-term strategy.  How could I just turn those immediate no’s into maybes?
